Welcome to Salt and Tallow

   I struggled with eczema my whole life and was always looking for something that could help me not itch and burn. Looking for a soap, I thought would be the easiest place to start, but at no avail, I found nothing. Years later I had children with eczema and now psoriasis. I was determined more than ever to help them with their skin! I decided to make my own skincare. As I studied product after product and started a business to get rid of all the soap I made but was still not satisfied with the soap, until now. With six years of research, I have found that Tallow is the miracle ingredient. Tallow helps calm my itchy skin and moisturizes it too. 

Our natural, hand poured products are scented with only essential oils and are free from harmful chemicals such as synthetic fragrance oils, sodium laurel sulfate, parabens, phthalates, petroleum by-products and artificial coloring/preservatives. Creating soaps that are made only with Grass-fed Tallow. This gentle ingredient formed in the soap making process is perfect for hydrating your skin.

     The soap is made in small batches with lots of love and attention to ensure the highest level of quality. I use the traditional cold process method. This allows the ingredients to stay at a low temperature to guarantee they keep their therapeutic properties.

     Our handcrafted soap is slowly cured for 4-6 weeks with each bar being unique in nature and varying slightly in size, shape, and weight.
